Video Help
The Videos feature on Special Operations Brigade allows you to upload videos and share them across the network. You can use the bulk media uploader to add videos to your profile page, or embed videos from popular video services like YouTube and GoogleVideo. We encourage you to embedd your videos from other website.

How do I add video from Youtube or Google?
If you have already uploaded video to youtube or google it's simple to add that video Special Operations Brigade. Simply go to your video and grab the embed code, then return to Special Operations Brigade. Select the Videos tab to access the videos page. Then from the top right side of the page select "Add Videos". On the uploaded page select "From Youtube or Google" on the right hand side of the page, then paste the embed code in the box provided.
How do I View all videos on Special Operations Brigade?
You can browse all of the videos everyone has uploaded to Special Operations Brigade by heading to the Videos tab. You'll see the thumbnails and titles of the videos, who uploaded each video and when, and the number of views and average rating. The videos are sorted in order of those most recently uploaded to the social network.
Let people know what you think of a video by rating it. To rate a video, head to the video detail page and locate the "Rate" section underneath the video on the right side. You can rate the video out of five stars. To give the video a rating, simply click on the number of stars you think it should receive. Your rating will then be reflected in the average to the left. Don't worry! Your rating remains anonymous, so you can be honest. If you change your mind, you can always return to the video detail page and click the stars to change your rating for the video.
How do I add a video to my favorites?
If you find a video you like and you want to make sure you can find it again later, you can add that video to your favorites. The list of videos you have added as favorites can be reached from any page on the Videos tab. Just click the "My Favorites" link. To add a video to your favorites so you can find it again later, click the "Add to Favorites" link below the video on the video's detail page.
You can edit any video once you've uploaded it. You can edit the tags you've given it, change the title, description, location, and change the privacy settings of the video
To edit a video you've uploaded, head to that video's detail page. On the right side under the video, you'll see the options you'd like. Directly from the video's detail page, you can add or edit your tags by clicking the "Edit your tags" links.
To edit the title, description, location, and privacy settings of the video, click the "Edit video" link. You'll be taken to a page where you can make any or all of these changes to your video.
How can I send in videos by email?
When you join Special Operations Brigade, a unique email address is assigned to your profile. You can use this email address to send photos and videos in one at a time to Special Operations Brigade. If your cell phone has a camera and email, this is a great way to add camera phone videos to Special Operations Brigade on the go! Any photo or video you send in to your unique email-in address will be added to Special Operations Brigade as uploaded by you.
To find your email-in address and to get started, click the "Settings" link in the right column of the page. At the bottom of the page, locate the "Useful addresses" section. You'll find your email-in address under "Add by phone." it should look like a combination of your name on the social network and a few numbers, and the domain will be the URL of your social network.
When you email in videos using this address, the subject of your email becomes the video's title and any text in the body of the email will become the description of the video.
How can I add my video player to another page or website?
It's easy to integrate Special Operations Brigades media player on another website:
Music Player: Click the triangle icon on your music player. Click "Share" to see the embed code, and click the "Copy" button to add it to your clipboard. Insert this embed code into your external website to add your Music Player.
Photo Slideshow: Click the Share icon in the toolbar of your Photo slideshow to get the embed code. Click the "Copy" button to add it to your clipboard. Insert this embed code into your external website to add your Photo Slideshow.
Video Player: Just like the Photo Slideshow, you can click the Share icon in the toolbar of your Video Player to get the embed code. Click the "Copy" button to add it to your clipboard. Insert this embed code into your external website to add your Video Player.
You can decide who is able to view your videos on Special Operations Brigade. When you upload a video, you can choose whether the video is viewable to Anyone, Just My Friends or Just Me. If you want to change the privacy setting on a specific video, sign in to the social network and go to the video detail page. Click the Edit Video link underneath the video:
By default, when you upload a video, the privacy setting is set to viewable by Anyone. You can change the default setting for uploading videos by clicking on the Settings link in the box on the right column of any page. Then click on the Privacy tab on the left and you will see options to allow Anyone, Just My Friends, or Just Me to see your videos. You can also choose who can comment on your videos in Settings.
Changing this setting will not change the privacy setting on any previously uploaded videos.
